Theme: "The Creation of Cultural Interaction Studies"

Speaker: Fujita Takao (Kansai University, Japan)

Contents
Prof. Fujita Takao is the deputy director of "Institute of Cultural Interaction Studies(ICIS)" in Kansai University, Japan. He has introduced the main content and performance of "National Humanities Research Project" which had performed by ICIS. He has explained the main components and outline of cultural interaction studies in this project. He has presented the concept of 'cultural complex' as characteristics of cultural interaction studies. The meaning of 'cultural complex' was related set of cultural traits in East-Asian maritime world. In addition, he suggested that the researchers must search to the possibility of trans-national and trans disciplinary approach.
